As we celebrate Mother's Day this Sunday, we pause to honor the women who reflect God’s unconditional love in our lives. In the Philippines and across the globe, the role of a mother is the pillar of the home and the first teacher of faith for the children.

A Love that Reflects Christ

Sacrificial love is the hallmark of motherhood. Just as Jesus gave Himself for the Church, a mother gives of herself every day—her time, her energy, and her prayers. This "Daily Sacrifice" is what builds strong, God-fearing families. As the Bible says in Proverbs 31:28, "Her children rise up and call her blessed."

Inspiration from the Blessed Mother

For us at SPW Worship, we look to Mary, the Ina ng Diyos (Mother of God), as our guide. She taught Jesus His first prayers and stood by Him until the end. Every Catholic mother has a special connection to Mary, finding in her the strength to lead their families toward holiness.
